The Brass band retains its shape after burnishing. No bounce back. This makes the Brass band ideal for sculpting emergence contours and sealing the periphery of the contact opening.

Standard Brass

The Greater Curve Standard Band is designed with a unique arc forming a funnel shape. This funnel shape enables the band to reach over to the adjacent tooth.

Center Width: 6 mm

Common uses:

  • Class II Composite
  • Class III Composite
  • Diastema Closure
  • Veneers


Wide Brass

The Greater Curve Wide Band has a center width of 9 mm and is designed with a unique arc forming a funnel shape. This funnel shape enables the band to reach over to the adjacent tooth.

The Wide bands are useful for long clinical crowns and anterior teeth.

  • Class IV Composite
  • Class V Composite
  • Peridontally involved molars
  • Peridontally involved bicuspids

 

U-Band Brass

The Greater Curve U-Band has an additional flare which permits the band to extend across wider Class II embrasure gaps.  For Class V isolation, it provides additional visibility.  Also, the U-Band will easily encircle oversize molars.

  • Class V isolation
  • Large embrasure Class II
